The Original Pancake House

Roseville, Minnesota

Landmark worked with architect Smart Associates and Original Pancake House management team to transform a cookie-cutter Crossroads Mall space in the bustling Rosedale shopping area into a stylish and warm 190-seat restaurant capable of serving over one thousand customers per day. Since opening in October of 2013, the restaurant has become a local favorite.

Landmark managed the design of the kitchen, as well as working closely with Smart Associates on the furniture package.

Manager Steve Pipkin explains. “Paul Kozlak and the Landmark team helped us achieve our goal of improving ware washing efficiency, server alley congestion, kitchen ventilation and overall production.”

The end product is a beautiful breakfast and lunch destination, with an extensive menu (including gluten-free prepared in a dedicated gluten-free station) and a charming, modern dining room attracting a constant flow of customers—and a highly efficient and smoothly functioning kitchen that is able to keep pace.
